Well...I've finally figured out that the problems I've been having with the blog site are due to using Chrome as my browser.  Sorry about the delay in getting some information to you.

Troop 55 has traditionally taken their most difficult trip the weekend after Thanksgiving.  This year will be no exception.  We will meet at 9:00 AM at Linden Friday morning and drive to Harriman State Park where we will hike until Sunday. The Scouts will be discussing the route and specific plans at tomorrow night's meeting (11/22). Dads are encouraged to join us.  We will be hiking 15-20 miles and camping out two nights.  The weather will likely be cold.  In past years we've encountered rain, snow, sunshine and everything in between. Some have expressed an interest in meeting us on Saturday so we will plan a meeting point for that day.
